Wine tasting: Loire Valley wines

Experience some of the best French wine with an expert! Join the AFKC for a new series of wine classes with two passionate connaisseurs: Arnie Millan, an expert in wine and Jean-Louis Bruyère, an exceptional French instructor.

During this class, let yourself be transported to the Loire Valley, renowned for producing a wide variety of high-quality wines, characterized by their diversity, freshness, vibrant flavors, and the ability to express the unique terroir of the region. The Loire, Valley, also called the Garden of France, is located just a couple hours drive southwest of Paris. It was a battleground during the Hundred Years War before becoming a playground for French royalty in the 15th and 16th centuries. Seemingly countless castles span the valley from Orleans to Angers. 

Join us on June 25th, 2023 for wine tasting experience of five wines from the region’s greatest appellations. 

The class will be conducted in French and English.

Cost per class: $55 for AFKC Members and $75 for Non-Members.

The class will be held on Sunday 06/25/2023 from 3 to 5 pm at Alliance Française de Kansas City, 8014 State Line Road, #210, Prairie Village KS 66208.
