Tasting Alsace: France's Fairy Tale Region

Experience some of the best French wine with an expert! Join the AFKC for a new series of wine classes with two passionate connaisseurs: Arnie Millan, an expert in wine and Jean-Louis Bruyère, an exceptional French instructor.

During this class, let yourself be transported to Alsace, renowned for its aromatic white wines. These wines often have pronounced aromas that range from delicate floral notes to intense fruitiness. Each grape variety has its distinct aromatic profile, offering a diverse range of scents and flavors. The most famous Alsace wines are Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris. The natural beauty of Alsace is captivating, with its rolling vineyards, forests, and charming villages. The Vosges Mountains offer opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and skiing during the winter months. The Alsace Wine Route, a scenic road that winds through vineyards and picturesque villages, is a popular tourist attraction.

The class will be conducted in French and English.

Cost per class: $55 for AFKC Members and $75 for Non-Members.
