Valerie Smith

My passion for language acquisition and cultural exchange has had a strong influence on my life and career. I hold a B.A. in French and a B.F.A. in Art History. For 8 years, I taught at a local French immersion charter school. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Museum Studies. I have lived in Angers and Saint-Nazaire, France, and love traveling the world. I am grateful to return to the AFKC Board of Directors. I look forward to supporting our mission to promote French culture and language in Kansas City.
